Chalet-Hotel Charlotte

Great stay in perfectly located chalet hotel. The hosts were fantastic and made it a very special week. Great and plentiful food and cosy bar. Ski Miquel service was first class.

We had a wonderful time in Serre Chevalier! Our second time at the chalet. Love the quirkiness of Chalet Hotel Charlotte - it’s warm and cosy and the real fire is a bonus! The staff were amazing, great concierge skills from Nikkie & Anna. Jav kept us well fed, the food was excellent. Hannah and Kate looked after us admirably and were kept us well watered at the bar- nothing was too much trouble. Lots of laughs with the girls, they were happy to join in with our group’s antics! The staff were just fantastic! A credit to Ski Miquel! Definitely recommend! Oh and the skiing was exceptional too!!

We had an excellent week at Chalet Charlotte with Ski Miquel. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome by the chalet hosts Anna, Hannah, Kate and Nicky, along with chef Javier, who all did a fantastic job throughout our stay.
The chalet itself was clean, comfortable and always warm, making it a great place to relax after a day on the slopes. We particularly enjoyed the daily ski hosting, which was a real highlight of the week.
The dining room/lounge/bar area is a lovely, sociable space and worked perfectly for afternoon tea and cake, pre-dinner drinks, as well as breakfast and dinner. Overall, a brilliant chalet experience and one we would happily recommend.

Great chalet & we used Ski Miquel for this trip. Fantastic from start to finish, a lovely cosy hotel with a very sociable dining / lounge / bar area. Location was great as you get the ski locker down at the foot of the slopes, so although not ski in ski out, it’s just a 5 min walk to the chairlift.

Fantastic week skiing thanks to Tereza and her team. Really friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, great food and catered for my son who is gluten free...very grateful as never easy in France. Skiing concierge was a real bonus and helped to make the week such a success. Chalet is comfortable with good showers and very fluffy towels. Great value for money. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Chalet-Hotel Charlotte. The Ski Miquel team were all very friendly and helpful and nothing felt like too much trouble. The food was excellent with a good varied menu. The location was great with a short walk to slopes and to the Thermal Spa. Recommend using the concierge service at the slopes to store skis & boots.

Just had a lovely week skiing in Serre Chevalier. We stayed in this very friendly, efficiently run chalet which we have been to on and off over the last few years. It improves every year and is very good value for money. The rooms are comfortable, the food good and filling, the small bar reasonably priced. There is also morning ski guiding which is very useful if you don't know the area or if you're skiing with people at different levels.

Great week at Chalet Charlotte and our first trip with Ski Miquel...we were impressed and would happily book with Ski Miquel again. Lovely welcoming atmosphere, very friendly , helpful and efficient chalet team. Great location, just a short walk or bus ride from the chalet. Ski guiding by Tereza and Louis was fantastic and enjoyed by all the family and the food cooked by Milan was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable week..thank you Ski Miquel and team.

Super week in France despite icy conditions. We have just returned from Chalet Charlotte looked after by some of the best chalet staff we have experienced. They were helpful, friendly, informative and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was well organised, the food good and the beds comfy. This holiday was very good value for money and we have just provisionally rebooked for next year.

First visit here for me, but most of my party had been before. I found the Charlotte very welcoming and cosy and warm, the rooms are rustic and quirky with very comfortable beds. The position is perfect right in the middle of the village which is picturesque especially in the snow and is close to all amenities, and only a 10 minute walk from the slopes or 2 minutes via the free bus that stops right outside. The stay was made great because of all the wonderful Ski Miquel hosts, they were so friendly and chatty. Tereza the manager, Stephanie, Clara and Hannah made our stay top notch and the Quiz night was a great bonus. The food made by Milan was outstanding and he even made me a birthday cake that was delicious and appreciated by all guests. I loved it here and would be happy to return. As a beginner I found it great and not crowded. There is plenty to do even if you are not a skier. We went snow shoeing, walked to next village for delicious crepes, zip wired down the mountain and went to the thermal spa (highly recommended). The buses to other towns are frequent so it’s easy to enjoy a lot of what Serre Chevalier has to offer.

Returning visit x 5 now, lovely area, love the Charlotte, great atmosphere, Ski Miquel you never disappoint. Ski lifts within 10 minutes, ski lockers at resort. Food great, what a great team, new coffee machine a definite added bonus... night bar cheapest in town for customers.

My family and I stayed for a week at the Chalet-Hotel Charlotte this winter and had a wonderful time. The accommodation is comfortable and cozy and Monetier, the village, is a real gem in the Briançon area. The chalet team is one of a kind, a real dream team. Top-notch service is what you will have if you are lucky (as we were) to stay at this place. Nothing can go wrong with a professional team like that. They make you feel as if you were home. We would definitely go back.

Just returned from a great trip skiing, Hotel Charlotte is a lovely place to stay, nice rooms, lovely food, and helpful friendly staff, The skiing area was great for us although a little more snow would have been great, lots of choices to eat and drink on the mountain, we loved going out with the hosts as they were very knowledgeable of the area and conditions, we skied with the other guests and the staff every day, it was like a extended family holiday, we will definitely be going back to Ski Miquel.

Perfect place to stay for a week skiing in the beautiful Serre Chevalier region. The whole team were so welcoming and made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend Ski Miquel. Lovely village and would recommend a trip down the valley to Briançon.

Just returned from a great week's skiing holiday at Chalet Charlotte. We were a group of 11, family and friends, with children ranging from age 13 to 25. The chalet is in a great position in the centre of the lovely little village of Monetier with a few friendly bars, restaurants and shops, just a short walk to the lifts. All the chalet staff were so very friendly, helpful and fun to be with, they really made the holiday. They were all so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, Will was our ski guide and did a fabulous job, a really nice guy who took us all over the area at a pace to suit us, saved us so much time too and such a pleasant and intelligent guy to have around. Anita was our chef and the food was wonderful, such a great variety, she was so flexible too and catered really well for all diets and tastes, she cared so much as to whether you were enjoying everything and if there was anything you didn't like, she was so friendly and keen to please, think it's the best food we've had in a chalet, definitely restaurant quality. All the other chalet hosts, Hannah, Harriet and Max were all so very friendly, helpful and keen to please. Laura the chalet manager did a great job of organising and keeping everything running smoothly. Fabulous holiday.

We had a fabulous week over half term as a family. Many thanks to all of the chalet staff! We enjoyed skiing with Max and Laura, skiing at a good speed with a break for a coffee and lunch. The chalet staff were also great off the slopes. Many thanks to Chef Anita for the delicious food and making changes for fussy kids! Laura ran the chalet impeccably, with organised yet relaxed plans for the day. Our rooms were spacious, warm and clean, making our week very enjoyable. The area downstairs was split into 2 alcoves, which is ideal for half term where there are more kids/teenagers. Many thanks again to the chalet staff and we are looking forward to our next ski holiday with Ski Miquel!

Chalet Hotel Charlotte is brilliant, the staff and service can’t be beaten! I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Only a quick 10 minute walk from the ski lifts and shops. Keep the good work up Ski Miquel.

Just returned from another great holiday with Ski Miquel. The team at Chalet Charlotte headed by Laura are super friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great time. As usual there was plentiful wholesome food and a very reasonable chalet bar. The guiding was great fun and as always with Ski Miquel there were many groups of like minded people that during our week all got on like a house on fire. Busy planning our next trip!
