Montgenèvre Extras 2026/27

This page contains all our extras pricing for Montgenèvre. We are pleased to announce that, following feedback from our guests, we have overhauled the offer we provide in Montgenèvre.

The ski and snowboard rental is now offered with an equipment-based structure, allowing you to select the equipment that best suits your budget and performance needs, including everything from low-cost older kit to a guarantee that you will be skiing or snowboarding on this year's gear, or you can even try skis from Stöckli or Rip'n Wud.

In addition, we have partnered with ESF to bring you lessons that are bookable directly through our online portal, so you now have everything you need to complete your holiday at pricing below the public rates. You can also add a wine upgrade or inclusive drinks package if you wish to.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Please note that Ski Miquel sells ski pack items as an agent/supplier and not as a principal.

  • Equipment storage close to the lifts is usually included free of charge with ski/snowboard rental in Montgenèvre.

  • Please note that if you choose to rent equipment through another shop rather than through the Josephine Pavesi Intersport shop (Ski Miquel), then you will be charged if you want to use the ski storage facility underneath the Josephine Pavesi Intersport shop.

  • Lift passes and equipment rental need be booked at least a week before departure to benefit from our special rates. Due to the requirements of our suppliers, it is no longer possible to book these items on the transfer coach.

  • Lift passes or equipment rental purchased in advance are non-refundable once they have been ordered from our suppliers, so in the event of illness/injury or holiday cancellation you would need to make a claim to your insurers for any unused lift pass or equipment rental.

* Additional lift pass info:

  • The 6-day lift pass for the 'Monts de la Lune' area also includes 2 free days in the Via Lattea ski area (in Italy). However, please note that the lift pass will only cover the Montgenèvre ski area for the early weeks of the season and the last two weeks of the season.

  • Lift passes purchased through Ski Miquel will not automatically include any insurance, so we would strongly recommend that you arrange your own travel and medical insurance policy prior to departure, which should also include winter sports cover.

  • If you wish to purchase insurance with your lift pass, then you can do so via the following website:  www.assuranceski.com
Please be aware that you may still be required to pay for any assistance on the day of the incident and then claim the costs back from the insurance company, so we would recommend carrying a credit/debit card with you whilst skiing/snowboarding.

École du Ski Français (ESF) in Montgenèvre

The École du Ski Français (ESF) in Montgenèvre has a rich and proud history that dates back to 1945, when it was founded alongside the growth of France’s oldest ski resort. As one of the first ski schools in the area, ESF played a vital role in introducing generations of skiers to the slopes and helped Montgenèvre become a well-known destination for both beginners and advanced enthusiasts.

Lessons & Activities

ESF Montgenèvre offers a wide range of services designed for all ages and abilities. From first-time skiers to seasoned experts, they provide group and private lessons in alpine skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country. Their instructors focus on safety, enjoyment, and technical improvement, creating a supportive environment for learning. Special programmes include children’s clubs, competition-level coaching, and off-piste adventures for thrill-seekers. For non-skiers or those with special needs, ESF also offers snowshoe outings and adaptive skiing. The school’s flexibility and expertise ensure every guest can make the most of Montgenèvre’s diverse terrain and leave with lasting memories and improved skills.

If you are unsure what level you are, then check out our handy guides for child and adult lesson levels.

Bookings with ESF Montgenèvre require full payment to confirm and are generally non-refundable, except in specific cases with sufficient notice. Group lessons require at least three participants to run, otherwise they may be modified or cancelled. Lessons may be rescheduled due to weather, and clients must have appropriate insurance cover.
