Resort overview
Montgenèvre is one of the oldest ski resorts in France. It was built in 1907, and Ski Miquel had been coming here for many years previously with our guests from Serre Chevalier, but it's only more recently following significant lift upgrades and the addition of new runs that Montgenevre has become truly world-class.
Vast ski area
The skiing opportunities here are immense. Montgenèvre is linked to the huge Italian 'Milky Way' ski area, offering endless open runs for intermediate and advanced skiers, and with no crowds. You also get the chance to take advantage of that special Italian hospitality over lunch, with great food at good-value prices.
Ideal for family groups and beginners
Montgenèvre has a great beginners’ area with a gentle, consistent gradient, so learners can build up their confidence steadily. The resort’s high altitude keeps the snow in good condition for longer, and there are plenty of new snow cannons in position on the lower runs in case they are needed.
