The lodge

Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge is a family-owned retreat nestled in Glacier View, Alaska, offering a serene escape between the Chugach and Talkeetna mountain ranges. Situated at an elevation of nearly 3,000 feet along the scenic Glenn Highway, the lodge provides breathtaking views of the snowy surroundings and the potential of the powder runs that await you, just a short helicopter ride away.

The lodge also offers amenities such as free Wi-Fi, full service bar with beer, wine, spirits and range of cocktails, with a covered porch perfect for enjoying the scenic views with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

Both lodges are packed with activities, inside and out, including:

• Ping-pong
• Pinball
• Hot tub

The lodges provide a friendly, warm atmosphere where you will end up whiling away the hours chatting and making new friends from all over the world.

The Rooms

The lodges features 21 unique rooms, each designed to provide comfort and a connection to the surrounding wilderness. All rooms are ensuite with stunning mountain views, with direct access to the helicopter landing area. Large, comfortable beds that are big enough to accommodate a moose give you plenty of room to stretch out!

The Bar

Following a great day riding powder, you'll be ready to treat yourself to the delights of the fully-stocked bar, with a range of beers including the local Alaskan brew from Anchorage and a wide selection of spirits.

Warm up with a bourbon or a Scotch, or test the skill of the in-house mixologist by sampling the daily cocktail special, and don't forget the selection of wines to go with dinner, paired for your tastes with each evening meal. 

The Food

The chefs will craft a variety of delicious, made-from-scratch dishes designed to impress and elevate your experience. Their goal is to make your dining as unforgettable as your heli-skiing adventure.

They are happy to accommodate most dietary requirements and allergies, offering alternative menus such as gluten-free, nut-free, shellfish-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. Whilst we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment, the team is committed to providing safe and satisfying meals for all guests.

Activities

You're never lost for something to do, no matter what the weather at Glacier View. In all honesty, you could lose a month just looking at the view, but why not try one of the many other outdoor activities that are on offer, including:

• Shooting
• Snowshoeing
• Snow biking
• Cross-country skiing
• The mono-board!
• Or just a nice simple walk through the wilderness to see what wildlife you can find

The Trip

Ski Miquel will book and organise everything for you, using our partner Majestic Heli Ski, so all you will need to do is arrive at your chosen airport with your kit, passport and visa and off you go!

The displayed price includes the following:

• Economy flights from London to Anchorage, with a change in Seattle
  • Upgrades can be booked upon request
• Transfers to and from the lodge
• 7 nights stay at the lodge
• Hearty breakfast cooked by a professional chef
• Afternoon snacks
• 3-course evening meal
• 22,000 metres of vertical descent guaranteed*

* This is the number of vertical metres you will aim to ski/snowboard whilst staying at the lodge - If you fall short of this target, then you can carry over any unused vertical for the next time you go!

** Prices can vary depending upon your chosen route and according to current flight prices / exchange rates at the time of booking.

We can meet you at Heathrow, Seattle or Anchorage airport and will look to do 7 days of riding over an 8-day trip, flying on Saturday and returning home just over a week later on the Monday. You will stay in the lodge from Saturday to Saturday, with the chance to go riding from Sunday to Saturday inclusive.

Other dates are available and trips can be priced bespoke depending on your needs. Shorter and longer trips can be arranged, but we recommend 8 days due to jet lag and potential down days. If you want an extra night booked in Seattle or Anchorage, then just let us know and we can arrange this for you.
